What we offer

Numeralis is an evidence-based screening tool for dyscalculia and mathematics learning difficulties, which is currently undergoing standardisation for a range of ages, from primary (KS2) to university level education.

Features of Numeralis

  • Numeralis is a screening tool for dyscalculia, which can be used on its own, or as part of a more comprehensive clinical assessment.

  • Numeralis is evidence-based, meaning each task has been carefully selected based on up-to-date research evidence.

  • Numeralis has been developed to be appropriate for a range of ages and levels of education: from primary school (KS2), through secondary school to university-level education.

  • Numeralis involves 14 short, computerised tasks, presented in an engaging gamified format, which measure a range of basic mathematical and general cognitive skills that are fundamental for mathematics learning.

  • Numeralis offers remote access, via a laptop, desktop computer or tablet, without the need for a specifically trained facilitator.

  • After standardisation is complete for each age group, automated, yet tailored recommendations will be provided for each individual, to guide and support specialist interventions.

  • Although our main focus is on dyscalculia and mathematics learning difficulties, the tasks are also appropriate to measure high levels of skills, and standardisation data can also be used to identify students with exceptionally high mathematics skills.
